Treat yourself to this amazing two day kayak and walk. On your first day, join the Oar-some Marine Reserve one day tour and finish your day in Anchorage where you will collect your pack and be shown to your campsite. Set up camp, relax on the beach and sleep under the stars. Wake up refreshed and ready for your unguided walk south to Mārahau (12.5km) through the canopies of native flora. Take in the breath taking views from the lookout points and be sure to stop and enjoy the many golden sand beaches along the way.

Age: 12+ (under 16 need to be accompanied by adult on a 1:1 ratio)

Kayak: Onetahuti to Anchorage (approx 4 hours)

Walk: Anchorage to Mārahau (12km, approx 3.5 hours)

Water Taxi: One taxi ride

Bus: $70pp Nelson return.  $40pp Motueka return

Accommodation:  Camping (camp pass included)

What to bring:

Please bring with you a water bottle, sunscreen, hat, insect repellent, swim suit or fast drying clothing (avoid pants or jeans), warm jacket (avoid cotton – wool or fleece is best), change of clothes, towel, walking shoes or walking sandals, any personal medication you may require, all camping equipment, dinner, breakfast and lunch for day 2 and of course don’t forget your camera.
